At the risk of submitting what some might consider unconstructive input, I'd like to pose a question.
This project, as I understand it, would involve making a "second set'" of records which are already a matter of public record. It's one thing when the repository of the records is a government agency; however, it occurs to me that some people might not WANT to have their information included in a privately held database which has the potential to become a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder, or worse the potential to be stolen, as was the case a while back with some records held by ChoicePoint. Is there a process by which the public would have the opportunity to "opt out" of this database?
