I don't think you were taking into consideration that there are two player's. If there were only one player the total combo's are 243, however lets say player "two " throws rock 5 times then it would be 243x1=243 but that is only saying player two throws rock 5 times,. He may throw any 1 of his 243 combo's which would be 243x243=59,049 or 9x9x9x9x9=59,049
Another way to look at it is there are 9 combo's for the two player's too have in one game. If they both throw rocks in game one it is 9/1. The odds that they both throw rocks in the 2nd game is still 9/1
Of course if you have a Republican playing against a Democrat , The democrat may claim a rock was intended to be paper, In this case the odds are off.
