No Rob- just to far north and east- If Scott is correct about them being made in East Tenn- then that is your problem-they just didn't make the migration your way- but they are good( unlike a previous post, but then I enjoy "s'mores" too- it just might be my taste buds that like them)
As a foot note to some of the connections about moon pies- on my home today I was listening to my Sirius radio- on the "Blue Comedy" chan- 103- and Jerry Clower was on- I don't remember the particular skit-but he mentioned the fact that they were shipping Moon Pies in one truck(somewhere) and RC Cola in the other truck and if they met- what ever event he was talking about would come to an end- if they both arrived at the same time!! Just too much to be concerned about other things with both of these at the same place.
I remember moon pies , but never the connection to RC Cola- and I don't think I ever had both at the same time, but I have lived in Virginia for the last 30+ years so they must be available there- I now live in Middle Tenn- just south of Nashville- but have not looked for moon pies here(yet). But next fill up , I will scope out the local mini-mart for them and report back- maybe even get your address and send you some , just for the "experience" of a Moon pie- you will have to track down the RC Cola.
