The following abstractors (who are posting on this subject) have NEVER done any business with Grand Info (from 1997 through 2008). THEIR VIEWPOINTS DO NOT REFLECT ANY ACTUAL EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH OR GETTING PAID BY GRAND INFO, INC.: ...Scott Perry/PA...
Mr. Grandon, I don't recall ever stating or even implying that I have ever done business with your company. I simply posed what I consider legitimate business questions, as did the other individuals you mentioned. For someone who speaks of wanting to work with positive people, you seem unreasonably defensive in your response. I can see nowhere in any of the posts on this forum that your firm has been "labeled a bad company". What you call negativity most others would simply call good judgment. Speaking strictly for myself, experience has taught me to "hope for the best, but expect the worst".
You say that you have always paid your abstractors, and I have no reason to doubt that. I think, however, that a little understanding on your part is called for. Most, if not all of the abstractors on this forum have been "burned" at one time or another by companies which promised large volumes of work, along with the moon and a little picket fence around it. So please forgive us "nay-sayers" if we all exercise a little good business sense and don't fall prostrate at your feet begging to do your work. In my opinion, a man in your position ought to be willing and able handle a few tough questions.
Regards,
