Vikki: I do not have any more info on this , but after looking at their web site- this looks like the TSS Abstract Express software, which is about $300 the first year and another $100 for each following year you use it. The other thing that is apparent is that this is software to maintain cases, not title plant data- while that is searchable- it does not maintain a pure "title plant" as such- The TSS software does the same thing- and I have tried that - it is detail oriented, which is useful in some instances- but burdensome in others- all depends on your individual needs. That is something that each of us has to define and decide how much we want to enter in the data base.
Just for clarification, a pure title plant has data that can be used over and over- the case type of database contains specific information regarding one parcel or one owners information. I have used a pure title plant data base for the counties I work in for the last 15 years or so and it works just fine- I can ask for the data on "XYZ" subdivision and it is there to be used , along with the blank fields for the specific info that pertains to the individual lot or pcl I am doing at the time- as well as the owner info that would be needed for a completed title report.
I have tried many other variations on this kind of software and found that MS Works data base, which you create yourself, but very easy, and costs about $50- one time, too.
