Don't know what I am talking about?....I beg to differ with you. The length of time is not the important factor, but rather the failure to explore the endorsement before embracing it. The fact remains that McCain accepted it initially.
If the length of time to which a candidate is exposed to these extremist positions is the best argument that you can come up with...I would invite you to review Rev. Hagee's opinion of Catholics, Jews and the Holocaucust...the usual one sided fundamentalist nonsense. His views were of long duration, and were no secret at the time McCain sought the endorsement.
