When we first launched the new site a few months ago, we tried something different that was designed to prevent the "double posts" that sometimes occur if the submit button is double-clicked. It had some strange side effects, which is probably why some posts were not getting submitted properly. That code has been removed and there shouldn't be any issues with posting... everything is essentially the same as the old site (as I understand it). We have tested it several times in IE and Firefox and have not discovered any issues.
If you still have any issues, please let us know. It would help to know the Operating System and Browser you are using, and its version. We will look into it and see if we can figure it out.
I have noticed an odd behavior on the blog. Sometimes when I submit a comment, I get redirected to blank page... or more accurately, the content of the correct page just doesn't seem to load. However, the comment does get properly posted. When I refresh the page, it is all there. It doesn't happen all the time, and we haven't been able to recreate it on any other computer (just mine, unfortunately) so I assume its some glitch in my browser.
Slade has gone over the code and there doesn't seem to be anything there that would cause it. Some of the "phantom" problems that we cannot seem to recreate may be glitches in Microsoft's .NET platform that our server uses. There is a new version of .NET that was recently released and we will be upgrading soon. That may take care of some of the issues.
If you have problems, please email slade@sourceoftitle.com and provide him as much detail as you can. We will try to see if there is something we can do.
Best,
Robert A. Franco
