i just have this to say...
please do not equate a college degree to an educated voter! that is utter nonsense! a college degree does not make one smart. i have friends who have degrees and are blithering idiots, especially when it comes to politics. i am a member of mensa, yet do not have a college degree. i will put my ability to speak knowledgeably about political issues up against anyone. i have "educated" friends whose only "knowledge" is the pablum they are spoon-fed and do not have the ability to think and reason for themselves. i have been politically active in my area for years and some of the sharpest people i have met, politically, are "uneducated". my experience is that the "educated" are more likely to toe the party line, not ever be critical of their party when they mess up and play the politics of "blame the other guys". being a conservative, i have no problem admitting that the last eight years have been a disaster. george w. bush has lied to me and violated almost every tenet of conservatism (smaller government?? fiscal responsibility??). mccain would be more of the same. obama is a socialist. anyone who does not think so has not researched him themselves or is not being intellectually honest. either one will be a disaster for this country. they will both hire people from goldman sachs, etc., to run our economy. both will continue to nationalize everything under the sun. both will continue to destroy our national sovereignty and trample on the constitution. can any of you actually say you are excited about either of these guys? i already voted and am proud to say i didnt vote for either of these clowns. they will both take us to the same destination, just take different routes! BOTH parties are to blame for the mess we are in now. since all the people who have gotten us into this mess are all highly "educated" from the finest schools, maybe i should consider it a badge of honor to be one of the "uneducated".
