Clanci, I have always wanted to try putting a lien on the property and I took into consideration the home owner's headache, but then I figured they are covered by title insurance and should not worry. I think if we were allowed to attach a lien on the prem we would get paid as soon we mentioned "we were thinking about putting on the lien on the prem" to the title insurer.
