Anthony, find a paralegal job if you can - check with the forclosure / real estate attorneys. I am sure they would be interested with all the forclosure work out there today.
I too am licensed and have a paralegal degree altho never took the certification test....not sure it was around when I graduated Cols. State. Anyway, the point is that the paralegal jobs seem to be more prevelant these days. I see adds all the time and with your Title experience you should be able to get in with one. Check the temp agencies too - Robert Half Legal Services is a good one - I believe they are nationwide too but not sure.
So, back to the whole license thing....I have worked in the business for many years and was never required to get a license. I know of sales people that are out there un-licensed still today. I am not sure it is all that great. It really just keeps me on the right side of the law since an unlicensed person can not "technically" quote insurance premiums/costs.
I went out on my own and received my license. It was a personal thing for me and something that I thought would help me in my job searches too. It didn't - I think it made more people nervouse...they might have to pay me more than an unlicensed person or I knew too much if that makes sence. Go figure.....no care in the world that I could actually do the job or knew the rules.
GOOD LUCK!!
