Has anyone been contacted by past buyers inquiring about a letter they received offering to forward a copy of your deed to you for $60.00??  I just received such a call yesterday.  I know it is a scam and wanted to pass it along to as many people as I could.  Warn your friends, family and clients of this newer scam.  I have heard of it before but I wasn't aware it was still circulating.

I am sure there are those out there that will fall victim to this scam - hopefully not but the fact that it is still going around makes me think they are making money somewhere and will continue to seek out those not educated in our lines of work. 

My client knew it was a bad offer but called to check with me anyway.  I explained to my client how easy it is to get copies and immediately forwarded a recorded copy.
