good morning julie :) i have been wtih TIAC/ALTA for going on 3 years now. you do have to be a member of ALTA in order to obtain e&o insurance for under $1500.00. i pay $1398.00 a year for $1,000,000.00 of coverage and my membership dues are $250.00 a year as i make under 100,000.00 a year. if and when (i hope it comes soon) i make over 100,000.00 to 300,000.00 a year then my membership dues for ALTA will be $450.00 a year. and the more you make the more the dues will be. i hope this helped. if you wish to contact me i am in the SOT directory.
