In the past when I worked for search companies, we had a few companies that always sent us blank signed checks, in case of overages, if needed we filled them out and submitted the recordings with no problems. If check not needed, we wrote void on it, and faxed copy of it back with recording info. If filled out we also faxed copy of filled out check with recording info. Not sure if this might be an option for you or not, but thought I'd throw it in here.
