Don't give in to price decreases because you will regret it. I did it once with one client and its taken me over 2 years to just bring it back up to where we started. All my other clients pay 27% more than this one client. It was a very big mistake to allow a client to demand volume discounts because life doesn't always bring us volume does it? Good bye volume, hello reality. Not to mention once you give in there's always another demand around the corner.
That same client demanded a discount of my discount about 6 months ago and I declined by email followed by fedex to the person demanding the discount. I told them "no", and how much we enjoy doing business with them blah, blah, blah.
They are still my client.
