Kevin,  we could (in Michigan) only "request the court file" if we had a case #, that we

would need from the name search, for which we are charged the $ 10 fee.

In our (Barry) County, MI we do not even have a public terminal to use. So, it's pay

up the 10 bucks for a name search.
