Good morning everyone!
U. S. Title has been hit just as hard. We had hundreds of orders from Loan America Inc., Community First Bank (based out of MD, satellite office in GA), and Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. All 3 of the companies left us hanging with owing a lot of debt to abstractors when they closed their doors with no warning at all. Community First Bank is still open, however, the manager at the GA branch that promised payments on unclosed files did not follow through on that.
We are doing our absolute best to get payment out to all abstractors as soon as possible. We have not been known in the past to NOT pay bills owed and we don't want to be known as that company now. All of our abstractor and notary payments are listed directly on the HUD and paid from funding.
We plan on paying everyone, but as I'm sure all of you know that have been in this industry for any amount of time, right now there isn't a BOOM on refinances or purchases. Our company is just like most of you, very small. We know exactly what you have been and are going through when "big business" doesn't follow through and leaves you hanging.
Please forward any invoices owed to 865-670-7661 or to my email address. I will get these in our funding office and paid out as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Missy Deskin
