Thank you, Kevin. Though I must say that I really enjoyed law school. It was stressful and a lot of work, but I loved it all. Actually, I'm still enjoying it - since I am still taking classes working on my LL.M. in Business and Tax.
And, by the way, I was hoping that I would get a chance to call you while I was in CT on my honeymoon. I was thinking that I could get out for bit while Kara was at the spa to meet you in person. However, the honeymoon did not go as planned.
We checked in to the resort on Monday and Kara developed a cough. She called her doctor back home, who recommended some over-the-counter medicine, but it did not help. Tuesday night, it had gotten much worse, so we spend the evening in the ER. They gave her some strong cough medicine, that pretty much knocked her out most of the next day. By Wednesday evening, I got sick. We spent all day Thursday in the room with the blinds drawn. Friday we woke up, checked out and drove home.
It was a beautiful area, but we really didn't see much of it. We never made it out to any of the attractions we wanted to see. We decided that if you have to be sick, you might as well do it at a seaside resort with room service. I think we are going to try again for our anniversary next year. Oh well... now we have something to look forward to.
Best,
Robert A. Franco
