Well, first of all I do not stick to the pricing standards recommended by the NNA when scheduling a closing...not a notary closing ...and certainly not when officiating at an attorney's closing. Over on Notary Rotary I have consistently seen senior signing agents scorn the NNA's pricing recommendations
With respect to organizing the abstractors...be careful that you do not find yourself prosecuted for price fixing. It is a very loose standard. Even unspoken agreements the understanding of which are confirmed by the nod of a head are subject to it. I have read case law in which an agreement to freeze prices at the current level even though the defendants' prices all differed from each other was subject to price fixing remedies.
