Good morning Steve,
They negotiated for one owner searches and then requested the two prior deeds as well. If the appraiser gives the deed references this would probably not be too much of an issue, although it would still be a three owner search whether I came up the deed references or not, but when the first "good" (full consideration) deed is in 1984 and that's the only reference given then we're back to a three owner search and a full at that. I have lots of customers that will add a little here and there and request more than we had originally negotiated and generally I don't mind because we have an established relationship and that's the way the game is these days, but I do have a problem with a brand-new customer demanding freebies right out of the box. Especially when we had JUST established the price less than 24 hours prior to my receipt of the order. Yes, creeps is a good word!
