Best thing is DON'T LET THEM GET INTO YOU FOR THAT MUCH.
At some point an abstractor "has to know" they are being fed
shovels full of BS and cut off the client. What good is a client
that feeds you BS and most likely won't / can't plan on paying
you for your hard work and copy costs. Do abstractors really
need the work that bad, that they are willing to keep on doing
the work for "deadbeats" ? If they are a deadbeat client, why
do you keep accepting work from them ? Do you really think
if my denist was owed $4000, $5000 or any amount in that
range, he/she would keep doing work on my teeth ? Get
smart guys & gals, look at the free time as a mini-vacation
and don't waste it on "deadbeats". Hard work wil only get
you so.....far, then common sense and good business
practices must prevail.
