This is the dry as dust version of the story.  The other, more colorful, one I read called the employee, Jeffrey Stephan, a "super robot signer" or the "affidavit slave".  If I read the numbers correctly he was supposed to read & sign off on 10,000 foreclosure affidavits a month, which works out to about one per minute.  If that's true then how did he find time to breathe?
