A lot of people roll over and say that nothing can be done.
I'm not a defeatist.
I always tell people to vote:
1. Vote at the election polls when issues arise. Whether for candidates or ballot measures, be an informed, educated voter and affect the world.
2. Vote at the Jury and Grand Jury boxes when called to serve. Your vote here is what makes or breaks law, not "activist judges".
3. Vote your financial rights by choosing how and when to spend your hard earned dollars.
4. Vote your stocks by knowing your shareholder rights and exercising them.
5. Vote with your mouth. That crazy "free speech" stuff is part and parcel to the American way.
6. Vote to compete. As entrepeneurs, business people and free market capitalists, weild your competitve sword deftly against wrong.
YES, you can do something; MANY somethings and you should do then all every day by staying aware and informed.
