Thanks for the invite, Patrick, but I’m sure you can find far better qualified individuals to fill that role.
To answer your question, however, I simply don’t have the time. Oil & gas & mineral searches are very labor-intensive and once you’ve committed to a project, it’s more or less a full-time endeavor. Secondly, I don’t really need to because the pay is much better and the companies pay like clockwork. Besides, it’s not worth the hassle of having to hound clients and beg to get paid once the work has been done. In over two-and-a-half years of running oil & gas titles, I have NEVER been stiffed for payment.
