I totally agree,, why fix something that isn't broken??? I have never had a problem with any database such as this one. There are so many flaws in this new system, I don't even know how to ''count the ways''. It has now resulted in a basic task such as a deed retrieval doubling my time for a turnaround never mind a current owner search, that time has tripled... I have to ask, what is behind the need for changing the original classiclandrecords??? I can only imagine that there is a monetary value associated with changing the providers with the benefits directed to the Registry of Deeds.. The Registry personnel do not do Title exams, they merely input information without the need of scrolling through every tom dick & harry listed in the database. This new system is not abstractor friendly whatsoever...Please don't do this!!!! I was relieved when the October 1st date was extended till January 1st with the comfort knowing my clients would not be affected by this change
