Well...Nothing works better than the sting of a good law suit. If you win the suit most if not all states provide that the loser pays the filing fee and process server's fee as taxable costs of litigation. They are added to the damages you recover if you win. With respect to attorney's fees you should try to get an attorney who will take the case on a contingency fee. If you lose your case you pay nothing.
Whining and crying about non-payment on a public forum does little or nothing to advance your position. The same people have been complaining about the same clents for years, and the perpetrators continue with business as usual.
