They sent me a Vendor Agreement Packet, as they all do, and wanted me to sign, etc. for all their rules etc., and limitations on liability, but didn't want to sign mine. She almost seemed very offended and in awe that I would even ask that they sign the same sort of agreement that they are asking me to. She tried the tactic of "I don't think they will go for this but i will send it over". I limit my liability to the amount that is paid for the search and had an attorney write up the indemnity agreement to cover myself; sign or don't sign, but you can't do business in this state (issue title insurance) without an agent.
Kim said they were based out of NH, but she was working 'remote' out of Texas...They are registered as a Domestic Company as far as I can see. New, August/September 2023.
EDIT: I edit at Axle's Request in re to being offshore. It does not appear that they are offshore from what I can see when searching their certs. Email from President, Kim is below.

Hi Amanda, I just saw your review on Source of Title.
I would very much appreciate it if you could amend or remove your
comments. Axle Title Research is a valid US based company that I am owner
and President of. We have a brick and mortar office in Derry, NH. I
live in Little Elm, Texas and we are considering moving the brick and mortar to
Dallas at this time. I assure you we are a legitimate company and I am an
American citizen, born and raised in Atlanta, GA.
When I told you we would review and consider your indemnity policy, that is exactly what I did. At this point, we are still considering if we will sign it, since we do not have this limitation with any other abstractor that we do business with.
Please consider your comments on Source of Title and if we need to have another discussion, you have my personal cell number.
Thank you and we will let you know if we decide to sign your indemnification.
Kim Morris
President, Axle Title Research
