Hello.
I am Cody Dylan (not my real name). I am the owner of a one-man Title Search Company in a very large city of North Carolina, actively covering 3 counties, and 4 additional counties on an occasional basis. I have not been in business quite three years, but I have built my client list extensively: about 26 accounts that I am registered with as a vendor, plus potential clients. These range from Law Firms in North Carolina, National Size Title Companies, Title Insurance Companies, and a global size client company. Note: I am not an off-shore company, deceptive practice, or representative of any off-shore foreign investors. I am an actual Title Searcher here in the city.
In peak season, this list generates $300+ in potential business daily, and the name alone is of strategic value, as it is either at the top or close to the top of all vendor registry lists and associations I am member of.
However, my wife has told me she is in consideration for a career-changing position out of state, so while I am not selling anything yet, I am getting an idea of who would be interested and how much they would be willing to pay for it. I would be happy to negotiate in the event I move forward to sell the company.
In total, you would be getting:
-My business name (strategic value)
-My client account list (including potential clients, marked separate). These are listed as Company, Contact (or Vendor Manager), email and phone number.
-My competitive fee schedules (so you can potentially underbid me to land further accounts)
Do note: No brokers. If I move forward with selling the business it will be conducted through proper legal channels (via a North Carolina Business Law Firm) to protect you, the company, and myself from any liability or legal concern. The sale would be final, and it DOES NOT GUARANTEE increased revenue or automatic transfer of business from a client account: that is up to you and the client company. Good business practice = good business.
Any insight would be appreciated. Please feel free to contact me at CodyDylanService@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Cody Dylan
