One-stop-shopping for title research - Bobbi Shorthouse, Notary Public/CT

I mainly research Connecticut, the New England states and Florida, so I have a limited opinion.

I doubt it.  I have four favorite sites bookmarked that I begin my research from, particularly for CT which has 169 towns each with their own Land Records system.  All the "starting point" sites I use are merely a link to the town site.  The starting link makes it easier for me to get to where I want to go quickly, as often the town sites have shifted web addresses for Land Records, GIS or Assessor records, or revamped something (i.e. some work on Chrome and not Inet Explorer and vice versa).  Also the sites want to be able to know where you are coming from - either a guest or login (backtracking that IP address in case of an issue).  Because the websites tend to be transient, fluid and updating by various departments every few minutes/hours, plus purchases require an account or credit card, my guess is going direct from "your" site into the land records without going through the Town/County link may not be a possibility.

Also, everything I start with is FREE  :)  Hope this is a start in helping you.
