There comes a time when every business must admit, that a particular phase of their business service is no longer viable. Unfortunately that time has come, and as difficult as it is to accept it, we must.

The new civil & criminal court search system here in Maine has had a devastating effect on many of us. The majority of our customers have written Maine off, or are utilizing the Lewiston, Maine Research Center on their own.

Therefore, without getting into the politics of it all, we regret that Maine Public Record Services will no longer offer civil & criminal records checks in any Maine county, effective immediately.

We regret this decision, but reality…. is reality.

We will still offer our Real Estate and Registry of Deeds services to the industry as always.
