[-] Abstrax, LLC / Linear Title - Very Slow Pay - Brett Ryder/NC (5 replies)

I have always appreciated this site and the valuable info available for those times when new clients contact me so I figured it was time to contribute.  The subject speaks for itself, Abstrax, LLC & their "sister company" Linear Title are very slow payers.  At 90 + days on a couple of invoices and this is the 3rd or 4th month in a row that I've had to call to ask where and when a check was coming.  They haven't stiffed me yet but starting to get an uneasy feeling about them so it's time to cut them off until all unpaid invoices are paid in full.  I'll post an update if/when invoices are paid.

Background info:  All orders I've received have come on order forms from Abstrax but some of the order #'s start with LIN which means that they come from Linear TItle and these are the invoices that I'm having issues with when it comes to payment.  Here's the reply I got from Abstrax today regarding those orders:

I just wanted to follow up from our phone call yesterday.  I have not yet received a reply from Linear about those files.  If you’d like to call them directly their phone number is (401) 841-9991.  Ask to speak with someone from the accounting department regarding unpaid invoices.  You might have better luck contacting them directly.

Thanks.
