Thanks.  I hadn't heard that. My office has been tracking how much it would have cost to use the new system for the titles that we've done over the past couple of weeks.  On average it's $30-60 but that's only for a search back to a subdivision basic title.  I've been doing this for 30 years so it's rare I don;t have something.  I did have a title in a newer section of Ocean Pines in Worcester County and using the new system it would have cost $640.80 to run the developers and builders back to my base Ocean Pines file.  Also, if you get HUD or VA in title, even just for a few months, it could cost $hundreds if you don't already have grantee & grantor lists.
