Have you also found or have you discovered.. that some of these online services, that you paid a license for, now charge sales tax?
Now ask yourself, if the county is granting or utilizing their official source of access to the public records, is the county "acting" as a non-profit political subdivision,or ARE THEY NOW A FOR PROFIT CORPORATION?
how can they have their official site, (Shown on recorders/county website, using tax payers dollars), charge the end user a "sales tax" for the public records?
Don't fool yourself, the records were sold off and copyright laws apply.
Do you see how these sites can shut down commerce yet?
