Yes, I agree!  I have so many friend abstractors out there who will do a favor and grab something for me if I'm missing a plat or need a doc - I will also call them and see if they need anything from my courthouses - I figure we're all in this together.  I have heard awful stories about people coming in and calling attorneys and underbidding clients, but in the end it comes down to quality and speed.  I appreciate all the friends I have made in South Carolina in the past year and I have sweet people in several counties who will tell me specifics about their counties and make sure I know what I"m doing and have help.  They are awesome.  I never feel like a threat but I also try to stay out of their counties to a certain extent . . .  :)
