This is nationwide. I love hearing that they're too busy; in fact they'll go on for 5 minutes how they're so busy that they can't get a copy....when I hang up it's hard not to laugh and say in the 5 minutes you were telling me you couldn't get that deed copy.....you could have got that deed copy. You're right, we are paying for these copies, it's not that we ever ask for them for free.

Then there are the states/counties that tell you they're not set up to take credit cards or can't email. They want a mailed in request and they'll mail the copies back??? In this day and age; who operates like that? Plus with all the "go green" attitude of the government, how is this not an incredible waste of paper not to mention time consuming? Rant over...
