January is notoriously slow. Abstracting is no longer a profession for full time work. That's sad because if good abstractors aren't fortunate enough to be able to continue doing what we like to do then I can only imagine "new" abstractors that have no idea about searching though old books, micro-films, etc. And when we run across something historical it so hard for me to not stop my search to check it out. I'll do it later...if they don't kick me out of the ROD Office (f/k/a: RMC Office in Charleston, SC).
