Well that's the second tire slashing story I've heard in this industry.  Years ago when everyone first started noticing the slowdown, and accusations where flying about "stealing" clients, I heard that an abstractor who had just won over a new client had his tires slashed at the courthouse parking lot.  He had to replace all four tires and within two weeks his tires were slashed again at the same courthouse.  I really didn't believe the story at all, but several people claimed it was true.  Crazy.
