That is interesting question. I deal with remote counties daily across the US. There are a few counties in AK that can only be reached by floatplane. And some of the coastal counties in NC (Currituck) at just not convenient from anywhere, so it is a days work for one single search.

I'd say North Slope County , AK is the most remote.
