Happy holidays to SOT!  It has been awhile since I contributed, but I feel the need to offload before I totally forget how upset and let down I have felt with Abstractopia.

Just about a year ago they (Kym Dewees, and Linda) sent us, and many, many others notice that they would be taking a three month "hiatus". Umm, red flag? We, cause we are who we are, continued to work for them with  promises we would get paid for the work, and the $517 past due. We have been lucky, I suppose. Not too often have we been stiffed, over the 14 years Rich and I have been working together.

I can take it, being stiffed. But what really, really bothers me is the fact that we had become fairly close to Kym. Sharing stories, work related and personal.

MANY of you remember her, I'm sure, and her promises of loyalty, fairness, and honesty. I guess I believed her, believed in her.

 We have tried, over this past year, a dozen or so times , to collect payment.
