Since I use Kofiles in about a dozen counties, if there's a glitch, I find it and I know they're sick of hearing from me!  (I miss RecordFusion.  Once they sold to Kofiles, nothing worked smoothly anymore.)  They will eventually contact you, but just keep trying.

Thanks for the info about the wildcard -- I'll definitely start using that.

As for the check marks, I assume you're talking about the list of documents?  That comes in handy when I'm search for just my chain.  I'll allow the system only to search "deeds".  Or depending on the county, you can also tell it NOT to search for oil/gas leases and the like.  Or if you're just doing a lien search.  I actually use that function all the time especially when it's a common name in a highly populated county.
