In VA the Status of Limitations for negligence is 2 years. The S/L for breach of an oral contract (I believe this is what most of us operate under) is 3 years. The S/L for breach of a written contract is 5 years. In recent years the majors and regionals have been sending out vendor packets. If you signed one of those, then you probably need five years tail coverage. I would start, however, with asking your current carrier what they offer.  Please keep us informed as you work through this. Others have the same question. Thanks!
