Amen to that and something I have complained about ... a lot.  Frankly, tho, I don't know if they can make the change.  Apparently, the whole program is based around Java.

There are major issues running Kofiles in either Chrome or Firefox.  You can do "virtual" Java programs, but even they don't always work.  It's just easier to use IE (which I detest for many reasons).   When I had to give up using Firefox with Kofiles, it caused a lot of headaches and a lot of slow downs in abstracting.

I know I have been a cheerleader for Kofiles -- and really, the indexing program is fabulous from my perspective -- but unless they can get thru the whole Java maze of problems, they're going to have some major issues in the very near future.
