I've considered buying a Capshare myself, but didn't because of lack of support. Now, I'm wondering if either my digital still camera with 6X digital zoom, or my MiniDV camcorder with 800X digital zoom wouldn't be just as useful.

Any thoughts? Of course, I can see the hens stirring in the records offices when I walk in with a camcorder ... assuming I can get it past courthouse security.
