Thank you. I am aware of the policy, but I have never seen an underwriter insure over known federal tax liens on a purchase. It has always been my understanding that the Revenue Ruling was something you argued if a lien was missed and you had to resort to it.

Maybe I am wrong - maybe some underwriters are happy to insure over existing federal tax liens. I'd be curious to hear about that, if anyone knows.
