My company just started abstracting 4 months ago. Before, we were the company that microfilmed and scanned the documents for courts here in Virginia. Well, due to state budget cuts, our business seriously slowed and contracts were put on hold. One of the clerks suggested abstracting and document retrieval services- worked for one company for a couple of months and then found salvation with the SOT list. The abstracting business is going so well, I am going to have to form another company so as not to mess up the taxes on the microfilm company!
