Source of Title Forums: Re: State Licensing

I work in Rhode Island and licenses for abstractors is not required. E & O insurance is also not required here. Attorneys are required to carry E & O insurance and some of the local attorney's insurance is extended to cover their independent examiners. One of my national clients tells me that their E & O insurance covers their abstractors. I did an informal poll of the expierenced abstractors that I know and none of them carry E & O insurance.
