We have e & o in the amount of $1,000,000.00 which costs about $2,000.00 per year.
We charge $75.00 plus copies at .75 per copy for "current owner" searches and we get paid. Why would anyone do this work for $40.00. Trans Union has a bad name now in SC; they have lost numerous good abstractors. If someone wants to do this work for a flat fee of $40.00 , they can't be that respectable.
