Hey Slade,
Jan is right. It is not up to the U.S. Government nor President Bush on where the work is done. It is up to us. What country does your tv come from, your car, your stereo? We lost jobs in Missouri as well. We have the right to life, liberty and the pursuant of happiness, never says we are guaranteed happiness, but we have the right to pursue it. That is why most of us abstractors and owners of title companies, large or small, have our own businesses and work for ourselves. We are pursuers (sp?) of happiness, the brass ring, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you get the idea. Jobs going overseas has been ongoing problem during the Clint adminstration as well. Jobs are always the last on the band wagon in an economic recovery. I will not be classified as a "victim" because of something another business does, good, bad, or indifferent. You can either change and adapt to the current business environment and survive, like the mammals, or go out with T-Rex, alot of roar but you are still DEAD. I know, I know, I'm a pull yourself up by YOUR own bootstraps, quit asking for a bale-out everytime YOU run into trouble, cold and heartless conservative, but I'm right (ha ha, get it...RIGHT), and yes I've been without a J O B without filing for unemployment. Jay
