The "uninsured" competition is a problem. Source of Title is in the process of creating a Source of Title Certification that will be available to abstractors who meet some basic criteria; one of which is E&O insured.

The SOT Certification will be available to those who demonstrate that they can meet the criteria and have purchased an Enhanced Directory Listing.

This should set apart the "professional" abstractors and be an instant indication to those searching the directory that you provide a high-quality service.

Check out the details as they become available.
