DocuPen - Robert Franco
1/5/2004 2:51:48 PM (2742 views)

Hi Loretta,

The DocuPen will scan the entire width of a legal size page (assuming there is a margin); the width of the scanner is 8". In our county the really old books are larger, 11"X17" maybe, and those can be a problem. If you don't need the whole length, you can turn the pen vertical and scan across the page from left to right and have a landscape copy.

As far as the print quality, the Docupen page on this site has a sample that I scanned with the DocuPen and converted to a PDF so you can print that out and see how it looks.

The DocuPen hasn't completely eliminated our copy expense, but it has cut it down enough to pay for itself the first month.

Best of luck,
Robert A. Franco
