Hey Joe,

so far I believe Missouri is the only state that requires an abstractor to be licensed, lucky me. That would be a great issue for the association to discuss, can we get states to pass a bill to require abstractors to be licensed in their states and give the recorder's office power to enforce it. Training, membership, licenses, standards, tests (I hate them too) can all be issues raised. I urge everyone to get E & O insurance. We hope we never need but it is there just in case. Jay
